This decision was based on their years of experience administering multiple interpreter training and testing programs programs at the University of Arizona's National Center for Interpretation testing, Research and Policy. They were convinced of the need for an entity which could provide a continuum of services for individuals wanting to advance in the field of interpreting, and agencies needing to provide better service to non-English speakers. Source Language Solutions plans to achieve these goals through a consistent commitment to superior products and customer service. Soon after its formation, Source Language Solutions was joined by Josh Pope, a specialist in GIS and data analysis, whose ability to analyze language needs and non-English speaking population demographics allows SLS even greater insight into the best ways to improve language service.
